摘要: This article provides a brief discussion of the fundamental chemical and physical principles that govern cellular reactions in living organisms. The thermodynamics provide information on changes reaction enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs free energy, whose magnitude determines whether can occur spontaneously. However, it is worth mentioning concentration most molecules cells determined by dynamic steady-state, instead equilibrium constants. collective effects noncovalent interactions mediating structures functions biomacromolecules, as well potential molecular crowding inside cell are also discussed.
