摘要: Over the past 25 years Landscape Journal has made significant contributions to scholarly base of knowledge needed for building discipline landscape architecture. The Council Educators in Architecture (CELA), which owns Journal, recently identified five strategic goals journal: enhance subject- matter diversity, nurture scholarship architecture, increase readership and impact, reach out diverse new contributors, strengthen connection practice. Examination its performance relative these comparison with other disciplines journals--through a variety citation analysis tools, manual searches journal, interviews editors, publishers, decision makers architecture--shows that journal is positioned achieve some goals. Others will require substantive changes.
