摘要: The scope of this paper is to introduce a suite new multiscale statistical measures which can be used, in addition traditional measures, compare observed and model-predicted patterns for model validation. Recent research on analysis precipitation at multitude scales has revealed interesting spatial spatiotemporal organizations have often been related physical properties the storm environment. By testing whether organization also reproduced or there are significant biases disagreements such comparisons conjectured hold promise understanding performance guiding future improvements. Results from application developed methodologies May 7-8, 1995, multisquall line over central Oklahoma presented discussed light additional information gained by validation as compared measures.
