摘要: Abstract Nuclear hyperfine spectra, obtained by means of the Mossbauer effect 59.6 keV transition in 237 Np, have been investigated NpO 2 between 4.2° and 30°K. At low temperatures a broadening resonance line is observed which interpreted to be small, unresolved magnetic splitting. From size field, moment on Np atom estimated order 0.01 μ B . These results confirm presence antiferromagnetic ordering accordance with previous susceptibility heat capacity data, addition show that ordered state unusually low, as has indicated neutron diffraction measurements.
