摘要: Quercetin (QCT) is a natural polyphenolic compound enriched in human food, mainly vegetables, fruits and berries. QCT its main derivatives, such as rhamnetin, rutin, hyperoside, etc., have been documented to possess many beneficial effects the body including their positive cardiovascular system. However, clinical implications of derivatives are still rare. In current paper we provide complex picture most recent knowledge on different types cardiac injury, ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury heart, but also other pathologies anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity or oxidative stress-induced vitro ex vivo, well vivo experimental models injury. Moreover, focus presence metabolic comorbidities addition disease (CVD). Finally, short summary studies focused QCT. general, it seems that metabolites exert strong cardioprotective wide range likely via antioxidant, anti-inflammatory molecular pathways-modulating properties; however, ageing lifestyle-related may confound heart disease. On hand, due very limited number trials data inconclusive. Thus, additional well-designed high enough patients testing concentrations needed reveal real therapeutic potential CVD. several negative controversial reported, this should be taken into consideration QCT-based approaches aimed treat CVD humans.
