摘要: The present study developed an efficient and environmentally friendly method for recovering polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) from Cupriavidus necator. Several non-halogenated solvents were tested it was found that butyl acetate ethyl are powerful the biopolymer. Testing performed to examine effects of temperature (25 °C until below solvent boiling points) heating incubation time (0-60 min) on two solvents. Butyl had a higher recovery level (96%) product purity (up 99%) than at 103 30 min. Under these conditions, PHB recorded highest molecular weight 1.4 × 10(6) compared with standard procedure (i.e., using chloroform). proposed strategy showed is good alternative halogenated such as chloroform PHB.
