摘要: Believability is one of the key concerns when developing synthetic characters in intelligent virtual environments. To achieve believability, must behave consistently with their assumed or perceived personality. This paper describes a model for construction believable emotional personae The assumes that personality and emotions are essentially same mechanism allows definition by set reactions. system designer defines concepts, which structure inspired Ortony, Clore Collins's theory emotions, will then automatically integrated IVE character cycle, Fridja's emotions. Then, implements final specific characteristics around those concepts. methodology was applied to real time IVE, S3A, developed context last world exposition century, EXPO'98, featured two pathematic dolphins, Tristao Isolda, who lived estuary river Sado during four months EXP0'98, were displayed more than million visitors. The project showed followed approach viable solution creation agents
