摘要: Modern heart surgery began with operative intervention for patent ductus arteriosus in 1938. Half a century later, ligation and division of an infant or child remains simple safe surgical procedure lesion identified relatively easily. In the intervening years, paediatric cardiologists surgeons have also directed their attention to management more complex congenital cardiac defects. Recently, however, there has been significant reappraisal re-emphasis role context neonatal cardiopulmonary disease. Interest focused on: (a) pharmacological premature large ductal left-to-right shunt respiratory distress syndrome; (b) preservation patency ductal-dependent disease; (c) right-to-left shunting persistence fetal circulation (PFC) syndrome other diseases associated increased pulmonary vascular resistance. This review examines above conditions reviews progress current status drug therapy treatment these disorders. Closure cyclo-oxygenase inhibition as well re-opening maintaining prostaglandin is discussed.
