摘要: In situ synchrotron microbeam x-ray diffraction experiments were carried out to study the microscopic deformation within individual ferrite grains in a martensite/ferrite dual-phase steel (DP980) under incremental tensile loading. The differential aperture microscopy technique was used resolve strain variations as function of depth up 100 μm deep from sample surface. highly inhomogeneous distributions lattice strain, which is associated with elastic and stresses inside grains, determined by means monochromatic energy diffraction, whereas insights plastic revealed polychromatic diffraction.
