摘要: Abstract Objective: To compare the ability of peripheral blood monocytes (PBM) and peritoneal macrophages (PM) to mediate in vitro cytolysis endometrial cells from eutopic ectopic endometrium women with endometriosis. Design: Prospective study immune function. Setting: Institute for Study Treatment Endometriosis university-based research laboratories. Patient(s): Twenty-four endometriosis (15 stage I/II, 9 III/IV) 4 patients treated GnRH agonists. Intervention(s): Peritoneal fluid were sampled biopsied during diagnostic laparoscopy. Main Outcome Measure(s): Lysis autologous cells. Result(s): Peripheral significantly more cytolytic than against uterine However, PBM PM displayed a similar degree hepatoma cell line. Ectopic resistant by PBMC matched cells, completely PM. Conclusion(s): The reduced capacity destruction coupled increased resistance macrophage-mediated may facilitate survival these within cavity
