摘要: Twenty-nine Red Kites, that were tagged as nestlings in Wales, bred for the first time at 2–7 years old (mean 3–6). A minimum of 41% young had entered breeding population by 7th year. Individuals moved up to 22 km between birthplace and place and, having bred, most stayed same locality from year No differences these various respects found sexes, though two long movements territorial birds both involved females. Annual survival adult breeders was estimated around 95%.
