摘要: Background: The understanding of the pathomechanics shoulder impingement has evolved over years. Likewise, assessment techniques and effective treatment strategies have also been developed. Physical therapists should keep up-to-date on current evidence. Objective: This study explored practices currently used by Indian physical for management syndrome (SIS). Method: Using an online questionnaire, were asked to declare causes, methods their choices therapy SIS. proportions using different analyzed descriptively, comparisons across gender, experience level, training made. Data see if respondents compared with responses etiology. Results: A total 211 analyzed. Most (>75%) believed that overuse abnormal motion/posture are most significant causes However, fewer reported assessing posture (60.2%) dyskinesis, especially in women (24.2%). Ninety-four percent exercises, but exercise prescription was rather generic. Therapists additionally trained joint mobilization or taping declared these more frequently. use interferential ultrasound 89.5% 98.4% respondents, respectively. Conclusion: awareness recommended practices, patient assessment, prescription, electrotherapy modalities only partially based helps identify gaps approaches SIS India.
