摘要: The association between prostate cancer and baseline vitamin E selenium was evaluated in the trial-based cohort of Alpha-Tocopherol, Beta-Carotene Cancer Prevention Study (n = 29,133). During up to 9 years follow-up, 317 men developed incident cancer. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards models that adjusted for intervention group, benign prostatic hyperplasia, age, smoking, urban residence were used evaluate associations exposures interest. There no significant serum alpha-tocopherol, dietary E, or overall. some tocopherols differed significantly by alpha-tocopherol status, with suggestion a protective effect total among those who received (relative risk 1.00, 0.68, 0.80, 0.52 increasing quartiles; P 0.07).
