摘要: Contemporary evolutionary biology comprises a plural landscape of multiple co-existent conceptual frameworks and strenuous voices that disagree on the nature scope theory. Since mid-eighties, some these have denounced ontologies Modern Synthesis updated Standard Theory Evolution as unfinished or even flawed. In this paper, we analyze compare two those frameworks, namely Niles Eldredge’s Hierarchy (with its extended ontology entities) Extended Evolutionary proposal an processes), in attempt to map epistemic bridges (e.g. compatible views causation; niche construction) rifts extra-genetic inheritance; different perspectives macroevolution; contrasting standpoints held “externalism–internalism” debate) exist between them.
