摘要: PURPOSE Peyronie disease (PD) occurs as a result of recurrent microvascular injuries or trauma the tunica albuginea, although its precise etiology is unknown. Mean platelet volume (MPV), distribution width (PDW), and plateletcrit (PCT), which are parameters indicative activity, considered to be functional markers platelets involved in pathophysiology related inflammatory vascular diseases. In this study, we aimed examine relationship between PD indices. MATERIALS AND METHODS We evaluated participants who presented andrology department our institution December 2015 May 2018. Ninety-two men with 80 healthy volunteers were included study. Participants had received medical treatment affecting any hematologic systemic diseases excluded from RESULTS The mean age was 53.8±10.2 years, control group 52.2±8.0 years (p=0.465). There no significant differences IIEF-5 scores, count, MPV, PDW, PCT patients without (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS No correlations found Large-scale prospective cross-sectional studies needed elucidate etiopathogenesis PD.
