摘要: Summary Mean platelet volume (MPV) is a parameter that obtained from an automatic haemogram device during routine blood count and measures reactivity. Increased has been considered to be risk factor for vascular diseases. The aim of this study was evaluate the relationship between presence varicocele MPV, (PLT) distribution width (PDW) values. We included 264 patients with diagnosis in Group 1, 220 no 2. performed both physical examination findings colour Doppler ultrasonography (CDU). Mean values were statistically significantly high (P < 0.001) whereas PLT PDW low (P = 0.011), (P = 0.008) group compared control respectively. However, significant correlation found MPV diagnosed grade on spermatic vein diameter CDU. volume, which used widely measure size platelets indicates reactivity, can provide guidance investigation pathophysiology relevant pathologies.
