摘要: Following the current 'Globesity' trend, there is an increasing demand for alternative natural therapies weight management. Numerous phytoconstituents reduce body through suppressing appetite and reducing food intake. Caraway (Carum carvi L.) one of medicinal plants that traditionally used loss. In this study, appetite-suppressing effects caraway aqueous extract (CAE) on 70 aerobically trained, overweight, obese women were examined in a triple-blind, placebo-controlled, clinical study. Subjects randomly allocated into placebo experimental groups consumed either 30 mL/day CAE or without changing their diet physical activity over period 90 days. Calorie macronutrient intake anthropometric indices measured before after intervention. addition, changes assessed visual analog scale ad libitum pizza test. After intervention, results showed significant reduction levels carbohydrate group compared with group. All reduced significantly (p < 0.01). These preliminary outcomes suggest dietary might be effective management physically active, adult females, size hunger level. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
