摘要: A method for protecting a threaded metal joint from galling and corrosion includes providing nanocrystalline coating on the surface. The can include solid or liquid lubricant to protect against wear. Threaded surfaces coated with resist under high pressure torque, even after several fastening unfastening operations also over long period of time. Protection is provided by coating. provide both lubrication protection corrosion. Problems such as removal leakage, which are associated protective compounds that use oils, avoided. coatings may be layers same material, differing materials, lubricating particles dispersed throughout, without particles. Such reduced wear, friction, galling. articles very useful in messy dirty environments, oil production handling industries.
