摘要: Damage detection systems (DDS) provide information of the structural system integrity in contrast to e.g. local by inspections or non-destructive testing techniques. In this paper, an approach is developed and demonstrated utilize DDS update reliability integrate risk utility analyses. For aim, a novel performance modelling building upon their characteristics introduced. The accounts for measurement combination with damage algorithm attached reference states modelled probability indication accounting type I II errors. way, basis comparison assessment provided dependencies between structure. updating reliability, based on Bayesian facilitating use level thus analysis. analysis encompasses static, dynamic, deterioration, consequence models, which model calculating direct risks due component failure indirect failure. Two case studies demonstrate high Value Information expected cost reduction.
