摘要: Abstract The optical and electrical properties of metal-dielectric composites (cermets) show large variations as a function volume fraction, size, shape the statistical distribution metallic grains in dielectric. These are particular importance around percolation threshold, where so-called dielectric anomaly, attributed to excitation resonant mode conduction electrons grains, is observed. Therefore, cermet films close to, but below, condition strongly absorbing visible range. In infrared, they behave like thus transparent. flexibility threshold can be used develop new spectrally selective coatings totally range highly reflecting IR, with an adjustable cut-off wavelength. We present simulations some specially adjusted spectral profiles their experimental realization using three-layer coating consisting Pt-Al 2 O 3 film, Al antireflecting film underlayer, deposited on substrate. stable at high temperatures exhibit mechanical resistance. They absorbers for many specific applications result wavelength: solar absorber surfaces, surface thermometers flux meters made thin thermocouples, IR detectors, etc.
