摘要: Left ventricular (LV) function and mass were measured in six conscious dogs at weekly intervals during the progression of tachycardia-induced dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) a 1-mo recovery period from DCM (post-DCM). LV end-diastolic volume wall stress increased ejection fraction decreased with each week pacing. Despite stress, did not change tachycardia DCM. One post-DCM resulted an improved normalization neurohormonal profiles. However, 1 wk was accompanied by 26% increase persistent chamber dilation. Isolated myocyte examined compared that normal control dogs. Myocyte percent velocity shortening 19 32% lower, respectively, group controls. Thus termination subsequent to development dilation abnormalities contractile function. The pump early mediated hypertrophy reduction rather than geometry
