摘要: Abstract The effects of hydroxy silicone oil (HSO) as a synergistic agent on the flame retardancy intumescent retardant polypropylene composites (IFR-PP) were studied, and IFR system mainly consisted ammonium polyphosphate (APP) pentaerythritol (PER). UL-94 test, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), cone calorimeter (CONE), digital photograph X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) used to evaluate oil. It has been found that Polypropylene (PP) composite containing only APP PER does not show good at 30% additive level. results heat release rate, mass, total release, carbon monoxide dioxide PP/APP/PER/HSO decrease in comparison with PP/APP/PER ternary composite. photographs demonstrated HSO could promote form homogenous compact char layer. Thus, suitable amount plays effect retardancy.
