摘要: Sarcoidosis, a systemic granulomatous disease of unknown cause, has been described worldwide and in all populations with notable differences clinical characteristics, organ involvement, severity, prognosis among different ethnic racial groups. While the exact prevalence sarcoidosis Middle East is unknown, studies from various countries region have reported characteristics affected patients, along few anecdotal reports. A search MEDLINE Google Scholar databases was conducted for relevant English-language articles using terms "sarcoidosis" "Middle East" or "Arabs." Subsequently, names individual were used as terms, replacing East." Overall, picture patients similar to that elsewhere; example, more frequent females respiratory complaints predominant symptoms. Within region, most Oman older female, arthralgia, hypercalcemia, eye involvement being common. Constitutional symptoms frequent, especially Iran. Cough common Kuwait Iran, while dyspnea symptom Saudi patients. Erythema nodosum Turkish population. Clustering seen Stage I II except Oman. Apart those excellent.
