摘要: The chemistry of antibody recognition was studied by mapping the antigenicity protein myohemerythrin with peptide homologs sequence. results suggest that entire surface is antigenic, but probability there being antibodies to a given site influenced local stereochemistry. Although accessible an binding domain, least reactive positions cluster in most tightly packed and mobile regions are closely associated narrow, concave grooves molecular containing bound water molecules. frequently recognized sites form three-dimensional superassemblies characterized high mobility, convex shape, often negative electrostatic potential.
