摘要: Polyamines, namely putrescine, spermidine, and spermine, are essential for cell survival proliferation. A decrease in intracellular polyamine levels is associated with apoptosis. In this study, we used inhibitors of biosynthesis to examine the effect depletion. combination ornithine decarboxylase, S-adenosylmethionine or spermidine synthase decreased induced death a WEHI231 murine B line. These cells exhibited apoptotic features including chromatin condensation oligonucleosomal DNA fragmentation. Addition exogenous polyamines reversed observed death. Similar effects were also other lines: human line Ramos T Jurkat. Depletion activation caspase-3 disruption mitochondrial membrane potential (Delta psi m).
