摘要: Abstract Zinc arachidate (ZnA) LB multilayers have been exposed to H 2 S form ZnS nanoclusters within the layered matrix of arachidic acid (AA). The as-deposited ZnA multilayer consists molecules packed in a hexagonal layer cell, with alkyl chain tilted at about 32° away from normal. FTIR and UV–vis studies show that conversion salt into formation is completed 2–3 h. Blue shift absorption onset excitonic peak ∼290 nm indicates nanocrystalline nature ZnS. TEM size ∼5 nm are formed. X-ray reflection grazing angle diffraction changes CH scissoring mode ZnS–AA composite molecular packing corresponds closely structure based on orthorhombic subcell which chains by ∼27° towards nearest neighbours. This contrast loose ‘rotator phase like’ precursor multilayer.
