摘要: Electrical properties of stearic acid/eicosylamine alternate layer Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) film structure incorporating cadmium sulphide (CdS) nanoparticles are studied in the temperature range 300–400 K. The room ohmic conductivity is found to be 3.87×10 −13 Sm −1 for as deposited LB and 7.75×10 −12 containing CdS nanoparticles. At a relatively high field electrode-limited Schottky effect responsible conduction mechanism. potential barrier height calculated at several temperatures metal/LB film/ metal system average coefficient 0.0048 eV K untreated 0.005 film. Activation energies 0.46 eVand 0.19 with nanoparticles, respectively. alternating current conductance both samples shows typical power law dependence value ∼0.9 frequency exponent.
