Effects of digoxin and Na, K-ATPase immunoexpression on human oral squamous carcinomas.

摘要: Aim: The present study evaluated the expression of α1 and β1 Na,K-ATPase, as well effects digoxin (DGX) on oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs). Patients Methods: Immunohistochemical Na,K-ATPase were in 60 patients who underwent treatment at Sao Joao de Deus Hospital. SCC-25 viability was assessed by colorimetric assay. Chi-square or Fisher's exact tests used to analyze association with variables. Results: Immunoexpression observed 28% 55% tumors, however these proteins not significant prognostic factors. Tobacco significantly associated expression. decreased after 1 μM DGX 24 h. Conclusion: smoking status OSCC affected a dose- duration-dependent manner.
