摘要: International travel has increased enormously in recent years. With the greater movement of people have come encounters with a wide variety diseases: malaria, dengue, cholera, typhoid fever, Ebola virus, and many more. The need for scope, consistency, knowledgeability pretravel health care to meet these challenges been met by emergence discipline medicine. Travelers are well advised become informed risks they face take steps minimize those risks. After reviewing traveler9s medical history detailed itinerary, medicine practitioner can offer expert advice on behavioral modifications, immunizations, chemoprophylaxis regimens which will increase margin safety. issues most frequently addressed clinic include treatment diarrhea, malaria chemoprophylaxis, hepatitis A, tetanus/diphtheria, influenza, pneumococcus, B, polio, meningococcus, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, rabies. Pretravel consultation must consider age underlying problems traveler, nature trip (wilderness, jungle, rural, urban, resort, or cruise), duration travel, latest available information site terms disease outbreaks, terrorism, natural calamities.
