摘要: We present a comprehensive literature review and critical discussion of the diagnostic therapeutic value lymph node dissection in prostate cancer. Lymph is currently most reliable staging procedure for detecting metastases Accuracy increases with extent procedure. Overall, patients positive nodes after radical prostatectomy dissection, favorable long-time cancer-specific survival can be observed. These data seem to independent also administration adjuvant therapy. It suspected that different prognostic groups based on involvement. However, these risk might reflect only lead-time bias, so remains unclear. In conclusion, cancer must sufficiently evaluated prospective clinical trials. Each patient should individually counseled regarding his individual tumor features use statistical tools such as nomograms.
