摘要: The varved sediment profile of Lake Suigetsu, central Japan, offers an ideal opportunity from which to derive a terrestrial record atmospheric radiocarbon across the entire range 14C dating method. Previous work by Kitagawa and van der Plicht (1998a,b, 2000) provided such data set; however, problems with varve-based age scale their SG93 core precluded use this set for calibration purposes. Suigetsu was re-cored in summer 2006, retrieval overlapping cores 4 parallel boreholes enabling complete recovery present "Suigetsu Varves 2006" project (Nakagawa et al. 2012). Over 550 determinations have been obtained plant macrofossils picked latter SG06 composite core, which, coupled core's indepen- dent varve chronology, provides only non-reservoir-corrected range. Here, physical matching archive U-channel continuous is presented. We show excellent agreement between respective projects' sets, allowing integration 243 determina- tions original into comprising 808 individual determinations, spanning last 52,800 cal yr.
