摘要: BACKGROUND Due to its arterial vasculature, the nasolabial sulcus is one of most challenging facial regions treat when trying ameliorate signs aging. OBJECTIVES The aim present study was provide data on 3-dimensional course angular artery within in relation age, gender, and body mass index increase safety during minimally invasive treatments. METHODS Thee hundred sulci from 75 males females Russian Caucasian ethnic background (mean [standard deviation] 45.7 [18.7] years; mean index, 25.14 [4.9] kg/m2) were analyzed. Bilateral multiplanar measurements based contrast-enhanced computed tomography cranial scans. RESULTS Up 3 arteries could be identified sulcus: ~90% contained 1 trunk, ~9% had 2 trunks, ~1% trunks; more than men. located at depths 21.6 mm oral commissure 8.9 nasal ala. lateral 100% cases; smallest distance between (11.91 [7.9] mm) greatest ala (13.73 [3.9] mm). CONCLUSIONS In contrast current concepts, not strictly subdermal but a variable depth, investigated cases sulcus. With increasing depth reduces significantly, underscoring need for special caution injecting this site.
