摘要: This study focuses on knowledge of medicinal plants among the Caicaras (rural inhabitants Atlantic Forest coast, Brazil). In particular, we examine use according to sex and age reveal general patterns Caicara plant resources. Data collected through 449 interviews at 12 communities (Rio de Janeiro Sao Paulo coastal sites) include citations 249 identification 227 species.
