摘要: INTRODUCTION Malignant mesothelioma involving the tunica vaginalis is an extremely rare tumor. CASE We describe a case of 39-year-old man who initially presented with discomfort in left testis and underwent resection hydrocele testis. A pathology examination frozen section lesion on identified as mesothelioma, which was confirmed by second examination. No metastatic disease found. The patient subsequently radical orchiectomy partial scrotectomy, has been free for 7 years. DISCUSSION first malignant vaginalis, structure embryologically derived from layer reflected peritoneum known "processus vaginalis," reported 1957. Only 73 cases were literature between 1966 1997. In up to 41% cases, there positive history asbestos exposure. Young age localized are associated better prognosis. Radical limits recurrence, usually occurs within 2 years, but may occur 15 years after surgery.
