摘要: This case-control study was carried out to investigate whether eosinophilia is a common finding inparasitic diseases and determine the prevalence of parasitic in definitive groups.Toxocariasis fasciolosis were investigated patients with eosinophilia, noneosinophilia, healthy controls. All cases analyzed for antibodies against Toxocara canis Fasciola hepatica by modified enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) employing, as antigen, excretory/secretory products (ES-ELISA). Seropositivity determined 39 (29.1%) 12 (8.9%) toxocariasis respectively. The seropositivity found 26 (19.4%) 5 (3.7%) without 13 (15.5%) 1 (1.2%) control group. total both eosinophilic group (8.5%) increased significantly compared (23.1%) controls (6.6%) (χ2:6.343,p<0.05 χ2 :10.293,p<0.01). Eosinophilia correlated F. hepatica. results suggest that serological methods can be used diagnosis infections tissue. Thus, actual tissue parasites revealed particularly developing emerging countries. Key words: Enzyme-linked assay; Serodiagnosis; Eosinophilia; Fasciolosis;Toxocariasis; Case-control studies; Turkey
