The migration larvae men causes clinical syndrome, called larva migrans visceralis or ocularis. objective present work was to investigate prevalence dogs, red foxes (Vulpes vulpes), small mammals Slovak Republic. Coprological investigation 310 8.1% canis, with occurrence from rural conditions (8.6%) suburban environment (5.6%). Out 710 examined, anti-Toxocara antibodies were detected 7.7% animals. most frequently seropositive species Apodemus agrarius (15.9%). Seropositivity localities (10%) compared areas (5.8%), adult exhibiting seropositivity (8.0%) subadults (6.8%). Our results have confirmed importance circulation this serious helminthozoonosis ecosystems.
