摘要: NASA Glenn, in partnership with US industry, completed an exhaustive experimental study on jet noise reduction from separate flow nozzle exhaust systems. The developed a data base various bypass ratio nozzles, screened quietest configurations and acquired pertinent for predicting the plume behavior ultimately its corresponding noise. Several system provided over 2.5 EPNdB at take-off power. These were disseminated to aerospace industry conference hosted by GRC whose proceedings are shown this report.
