摘要: Aircraft engine noise research in the United States has made considerable progress over past 10 years for both subsonic and supersonic flight applications. The Advanced Subsonic Technology (AST) Noise Reduction Program started 1994 will be completed 2001 without major changes to program plans funding levels. As a result, significant been toward goal of reducing source by 6 EPNdB (Effective Perceived level decibels). This paper summarize some accomplishments from performed years. review is no means comprehensive only represents sample accomplishments.
