摘要: ABSTRACT Broiler chicken meat is considered as the main source of foodborne Campylobacter infection. jejuni multilocus sequence type ST-5 has been previously identified predominant among Latvian and Lithuanian broiler products often isolated from patients with enteric The market share origin fresh sold at Estonian retail estimated close to 50%. In this study, we used whole-genome sequences C. isolates obtained retail. Applied genome-by-genome MLST revealed high similarity investigated 1589 shared alleles, which 218 loci were polymorphic. had 199 205 intergroup differences in whereas intragroup differed by 27 31 alleles. Allele divided into 2 distinct groups based on country origin, was supported sequence-based phylogenetic tree. resulting geographic separation found study should be carefully interpreted taking account small sample size.
