摘要: Abstract It has been previously demonstrated that normal nonimmunized individuals possess circulating and tissular B cells, which are capable of spontaneous immunoglobulin (Ig) production in short-term (3 days) cultures. We have also observed the occurrence low levels [ 3 H]thymidine uptake early such This work analyzes relationship between both B-cell functions vitro : (i) Kinetics studies revealed activities were temporarily related, as DNA synthesis was maximal from 8 to 12 hr, declined thereafter, when Ig secretion first detected culture supernatant: (ii) The abrogation at initiation or during period proliferation, but not after 24 inhibited subsequent IgG secretion, (iii) cells responsible for exhibited similar densities, since recovered 42.5–45% Percoll fractions, identical large size determined by 1 g sedimentation procedure, tonsil, equally reactive with BA-2 mouse monoclonal antibody, (iv) Finally, limiting dilution analysis showed precursor frequencies under study similar. These results suggest carried out same subset vivo -preactivated lymphoblastoid cells.
