摘要: The rectoanal reflex in the rat consists of relaxation followed by contraction internal anal sphincter (IAS). Beta-adrenergic drugs produce prolonged IAS, where α-agonists cause brief contraction. Muscarinic cholinergic contract IAS. ATP and related purines which is blocked theophylline. persists during adregeneric, cholinergic, purinergic block. potassium-blocker apamin prevents induced rectal distension. This suggests that not mediated adrenergic, or transmitters. Blocking potassium conductance was apparently only way to eliminate this reflex.
