摘要: Amino acid uptake in vivo was determined soleus (SOL) muscle, diaphragm, heart, and liver following intravenous injection of [3H]-alpha-amino-isobutyric ([3H]-AIB) rats made septic by cecal ligation puncture (CLP) sham-operated controls. Muscle amino transport also measured vitro determining [3H]-AIB incubated extensor digitorum longus (EDL) SOL muscles. Results were expressed as distribution ratio between intracellular extracellular fluid. AIB reduced 90% cardiac muscle 45% diaphragm 16 hours after CLP. In contrast, almost four times higher than control animals. 18% EDL 8 CLP but not significantly altered at the same time point. Sixteen CLP, both muscles, i.e., 17% 65% SOL. When muscles from untreated presence plasma animals (16 CLP) or injected with endotoxin (2 mg/kg body weight), reduced. Addition (2-200 micrograms/ml) to did affect uptake. The results suggest that sepsis leads marked impairment system A this is mediated a circulating factor endotoxin. Reduced acids skeletal during may divert for increased gluconeogenesis protein synthesis.
