摘要: There has been a rising interest in the levels, diversity and potential impacts of yeasts aquatic environments. Some species isolated from such niches are known pathogens or have pathogenic antifungal resistance features. This deems it necessary to understand characteristics health implications environmental species. Studies on these subjects limited. Most studies linked them water pollution. However, current gold standards determine microbial pollution use bacteria as main indicator organisms. Including quality may provide different dimension when determining its fit-for-use properties.
