摘要: Yeast communities inhabiting the sea surface microlayer (SSML) on northern coast of Taiwan were examined using a cultivation method and compared with those underlying water (UW) at 50-cm depth. Culturable yeasts recovered from SSML UW samples collected in morning during 4 field campaigns, 420 strains isolated. The isolates grouped into 43 species polyphasic molecular approach, including sequence analysis 26S rDNA D1/D2 domain 5.8S-ITS region. From samples, 12 genera 39 species, 7 new Cryptococcus sp. (1), Candida spp. (4), Rhodotorula (2), 10 21 one mucilaginosa was most abundant present yeast community (37.6%) (21.6%) samples. Basidiomycetous (63.6%) pigmented (64.5%) comprised major population. had higher number abundance than UW. Moreover, although majority SSML, individual distribution unequal.
