摘要: Ammonium and diphenhydramine are active ingredients commonly found in the same pharmaceutical preparations. We report, for first time, a sub-minute method simultaneous determination of ammonium diphenhydramine. The is based on capillary electrophoresis with capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection. Both analytes can be quantified single run (∼80 injections/h) using 30 mmol/L 2-(N-morpholino)ethanesulfonic acid 15 lithium hydroxide (pH 6.0) as background electrolyte. separation by was achieved fused-silica (50 cm total length, 10 effective 50 μm inside diameter). limits detection were 0.04 0.02 diphenhydramine, respectively. proposed also provided adequate recovery values spiked samples (100-106 97-104% respectively). results obtained new compared those high-performance liquid chromatography Kjeldahl no statistically significant differences (95% confidence level).
