摘要: Abstract Between 2001 and 2006, women participating in the U.S. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) weighed 15.5 lb more than eligible nonparticipants on average. Using a dataset (NHANES) that contains detailed information wide variety of demographic, socioeconomic, health behavioral characteristics for 2018 SNAP-eligible women, we make three contributions to growing literature addresses this weight difference. First, specify physiological model gain with which show average differences caloric intake physical activity are much too small explain Second, estimate regression models SNAP participation is not associated changes energy balance (i.e., activity). Third, does predict significant gain. Our results provide no support hypothesis causes
