摘要: Abstract For the case of UK there are currently three ways obtaining energy from sea areas, namely wind, tides and waves. A methodology was developed to determine future size offshore renewable industry based on concept employment factor, or number people required maintain each unit electricity production. An assessment made decline in employed oil related jobs North Sea gap that this could create UK's economy unless pool expertise find an alternative sector. The paper will also investigate effect gradually transforming gas sector into renewables. If happen by 2050 produce between 127 146 TWh electricity, equivalent around 57–66% current consumption country.
