摘要: In vitro selection is a method that allows the simultaneous screening of very large numbers nucleic acid molecules for wide range properties from binding characteristics to catalytic properties; moreover, isolation rare functional becomes possible. Binding sites between proteins and acids, example, have been evaluated by this methodology in order gain information about protein/nucleic interactions. Structure function RNA (“ribozymes”) has studied led new ribozymes with improved function. Substrate specificity changed ribozyme cleaves DNA. Other applications include acids bind specifically small organic form triple helices double-stranded article we discuss background, design, results genetic experiments, which bridge biochemical/molecular biological chemical approaches molecular recognition.
