摘要: Over the past decade, effectiveness of i-PrMgCl·LiCl has been constantly highlighted by a number research groups. Its enhanced nucleophilicity brings prosperity to highly functionalized Grignard reagents, other useful bimetallic (alkali-metal) agents and nucleophilic alkylation products under mild reaction conditions. In this feature article, comprehensive, systematical in-depth overview is provided in multidisciplinary idea. It involves structural kinetic perspectives as well its unique reactivity selectivity, with knowledge former helping rationalize trends later.
