摘要: This paper reflects on the relevance of academic science. Relevance plays a central role in what we define as ‘contract’ between (academic) science and society. The manifestations daily practice research can be studied using credibility cycle. Together, science—society contract cycle enable systematic analysis scientific disciplines. is illustrated with case study chemistry Netherlands.
